Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

We will also accept lightweight jackets, jeans, pants.
Please save your Winter/puffy coats, ski gear, sweatsuits, fall/winter holiday themed items for our Fall/Winter Event.

Clothing Preparation:

1. Remember- The better they look, the better they sell.

2. Wash (always) and Iron (if needed) all your clothes. Why? Because the better they look, the better they sell.

3. Use only plastic hangers for your hanging items.

4. Bundle Bundle Bundle. Bundle everyday clothing items together to equal at least $4.00. Check out our Pricing Points guideline (found under Consign-Pricing Points) for our pricing guideline for best pricing practices. Yes, there are always exceptions.

5. Sell an outfit! Have an outfit your child always got complimented when wearing? Why break up a good thing? Sell the outfit! The vision is there and loved and moms love that!

Items Limits!

Each consignor code is limited to 350 items. If you have more than 350 quality items, you may use multiple consignor codes. Remember each code has a $12 consignor fee. Also remember to bundle your items. For example, a bundle of 4 shirts is entered as 1 item!

Acceptable Items

Please visit our Acceptable Items page: Under Consign - Acceptable Items

We will accept the following items for our bedding section:
Crib size sheets
Toddler bed size sheets
Twin size and full-size bedding
Blankets (NO fluff filled blankets/comforters)

We will not be able to accept:
Queen or King size sheets
Crib bumpers (including mesh bumpers)
Duvet covers

Blankets & Swaddles & Sheets

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pin them together. Safety pin the tag to the blankets.

Sheets can be placed on a hanger and use a safety pin to secure it.
Use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the sheet.

Misc. Items

Some items sell better when they are on a hanger rather than in a bag. Items such as bibs, burp cloths, cloth diapers and onesies should be placed on a hanger and secured with a safety pin. Also utilize a safety pin to attach the string tag to the item.

When to use a Ziploc bag? Bottles, rattles, socks, bows, etc. are best grouped together appropriately in ziploc bags. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape on the top part of the string tag.

It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the plastic bag or on masking tape placed on the bag with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off during the sale.

As part of Reduce Reuse - You can keep plastic bags from the sale and use them to sell your items in next sale.
You can ALSO use compostable ziplocs - add 0.40 cents to the price of your item to cover the cost.

Toys, Furniture & Equipment

All items must be clean and in working order (batteries included).

Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated, the item will not sell.

Books and DVD's do not need to be put in ziplock bags UNLESS you are bundling them. If are you bundling them, you can place them in a ziplock bag.

Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape at the top of the string tag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off.

Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact OR if able, place in a ziploc bag.

All toys and games MUST include ALL pieces. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We are only able to accept stuffed animals that are battery operated or a name brand (Such as Disney, Build-a-Bear, etc).

Large Little Tikes Toys are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys and Baby Equipment!

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. You may check the following website for current toy recalls. Also for a helpful resource made available by the Consumer Product Safety Commission

***Due to recall regulations by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, we will not be accepting ANY drop side cribs.***

You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old.

Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.
